to the american people

Dear Friends,

Destroying dikes to flood the vast delta of North Vietnam, will of course, cause an immeasurable disaster in all fields, for tens of millions of people. It is also an unparalleled crime, a crime of genocide, and ecocide perpetrated at a highest degree of gravity. Nixon’s crime in this respect is so monstrous and is a perfidious challenge to the international law and to the whole humanity. Such a crime will be the dirtiest spot in the US imperialism’s history.

For this reason, we particularly call on the justice and peace loving American people to raise your voice of vehement of protest to act now and positively in order to stop in time Nixon’s criminal and bloody hands.

Sincerely,

HOANG MINH GIAM Chairman of the Vietnam Committee for Solidarity with the American People.
